~ LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE ~

Ahhh, it is such a sweet feeling to play with all my toys and different supplies and to actually be pleased with the outcome.

I made two of these "accordeon mini albums", one for my Mom and the other for myself. I had three ideas right from the start for this project: I wanted to use the tin box which I had picked-up at Michael's ages ago ( originally designed to hold a gift card ); I thought the accordeon type would fit best in the box and lastly the title( after the movie ) came to me when I saw my d.d's sunny disposition on the pictures.

The box is: 3 x 4 3/4inches ( 7,5 x 12 cm )
Each page of the accordeon : 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches ( 7 x 11 cm )
the pictures:(I trimmed down the wallet prints) 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (6 x 9 cm )

I have yet to write the journaling on the tags.I will write some of the funny things G.lily has said recently.

supplies:

black letters on the box: American Crafts
small letters: Making Memories
embellishments: Creative Cafe
acrylic stamp for the tag: Basic Grey
acrylic stamp ( flourish on the cover ): Autumn leaves
grommet ; Making memories
die-cuts: Sizzix and Quickutz
solid cardstock: Bazzill
double-sided p.p: Bo-Bunny Press
white paper clip: Making Memories
punches: Marvy uchida

  6. That's wonderful! I love the little peek thru window in the last picture. I made an altoids tin mini-album for father's day and this is another variation that would be great! Thanks for the idea for using the gift card tin. Oh and I loved that you made pocket tags for the journaling to go along with it. All around a great inspiration and to answer your question I appreciate anything and everything you post.
