BIRTHDAY MINI

Hubby turned fifty last week! After a nice long day of celebration he told me he felt like jolting down some thoughts about his birthday.The scrapbooker that I am felt little lights going off in my head saying "MINI", "MINI"...so I made this simple album to hold all of his cards, some pictures and tags on which he will be able to write.


Here is how I started:
1.I aligned all the cards together to give me an idea for the format and cut 2 pieces of cardstock for the front and the back. The width is purposely a bit wider so as to protect the inside pages:

2.I chose a transparency for protection and to add a little more flair I used a grommet as a window.( I set the grommet by punching a smaller circle in the transparency )

3.I used my handy dandy Cropadile to make the holes and set some eyelets.

4.That's where the 4 pages I made using the different templates come in. I stamped an owl ( Sassafras ) on each of them and added black gems for the eyes. Each tag bares a title ( Making Memories ) such as "My thoughts"/ "My wishes".
