The snow storm was on its way when I started making these cards, Gabrielle Rose joined me and we spent our evening mixing matching the papers, ribbons, eyelets, embellies to the sound of Christmas music. We had a lovely sweet simple time just the two of us, mother and daughter, "making stuff" with love for friends and family. I truly hope you too can experience some real Christmas time making "stuff" with your loved ones, the perfect antidote to stress in my book!

For the upcoming RFF ( Rak for Followers ), I'll ask you to leave me a comment on this post. I'll select a winner Sunday evening. THANK YOU.
Pour le 2eme RFF ( Rak for Followers ), Je vous demanderai de laisser un commentaire ici et je tirai au sort une gagnante dimanche soir. MERCI.

Hello again! Can you send me directions on how you made these cards? That would be great! I'd like to try and make some, but there's no way I can make them without a step-by-step process. :)
Stay safe in the ice and snow. I hear Chicago is getting all the snow and ice just like we are!

Hi Megan,

The 1st idea to come to my mind is to make her some cards with her initial on the front.
Do you have alpha stamps? You could stamp her initial on a small square, heat emboss it, perhaps thinking of a color she favors, mat that square with the same color as the ink/ powder you used and use a 3-D glue ( or foam square )to adhere it to the front of the card. You can glue a strip of p.p on the front of the card as well as a piece of ribbon. Think of her while making it and let your heart guide doubt you'll make something beautiful and unique!
Good luck, hope this helped?!
