1. Je ne sais pas conduire une boite a vitesses et ca m'embete.
I can't drive a stick shift and it really bothers me.
2. Je reve de decouvrir le Vietnam en velo.
I would love to discover Vietnam by bike.

I would have liked to have been a "nose".

The blade can be very easily changed and the cut is extremely precise, I definitely recommend it!
Il est vraiment trop chouette cet outil, je l'ai d'ailleurs utilise pour faire la petite vague bleue de la page d'hier et c'est donc sans aucun interet personnel que j'en fais la pub, comme ca, juste parce que quand on tombe sur un super outil, on a envie d'en faire part a toutes les scrapinettes!

Qui pourrait croire que cette page a quelque chose a voir avec le Baseball? 1. you need 1 solid 12 x 12 card stock ( yellow), a 2 in. strip of p.p ( American Crafts), some solid color card stock (green) and some white paper ( to print your invitation) and your basic material:
2. The half moon is done by punching half of a circle (with the 1 3/8 in" punch) into the folded yellow card stock then you can adhere the 2 edges to create a pocket:
3.Take your 2 in x 8 1/2 in of p.p and with a bone folder make a crease at 2 1/4 in from each extremity then with your x-acto knife cut 2 small incisions around the crease to thread the ribbon like this:
4. The finished card is 4 x 6, so the idea is to cut the green paper a little bit smaller than the yellow and then same idea for the white piece (smaller than the green). I highly recommend printing or stamping your words onto the white paper before cutting it.Here is the assembled invitation:

It's a lot easier than you'd think,it's quite economical, it's always a hit and extremely versatile since you can pretty much "throw" anything on it, sweet or salty and it'll be delicious, I guarantee it.
Ingredients for 2 tarts:
2 1/2 cups of flour ( 400g)
a pinch of salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 cups of butter ( 180g )
2 eggs ( beaten with a fork )
1/2 glass of cold H2O
Please note that I use my handy dandy Kitchen aid blender for the recipe but you can also do it all by hand.
1. In a big mixing bowl pour the flour, the salt, sugar and the diced butter.Turn on slow and blend as little as possible, it's not supposed to be well mixed.
2. Add the egg and H2O and blend.
3. Throw the dough on a floured surface, roll in a ball and wrap in plastic.Let it rest there for at least half an hour.
4. Butter and lightly flour 2 tart molds. Divide the dough in 2 and roll out them out one after the other. Put them in the mold and with the help of a fork mark the bottom of the tart. Refrigirate for at least half an hour and up to a day.Don't skip this step or the edges of your tart will collapse during the baking.
5. Add any types of "toppings" you'd like : peeled and cut apples with some melted butter and some sugar on top, tomatoes and cheese...insert in a 350F oven ( 200 to 220 Celsius) and bake for about 1 hour.
( don't forget to have the little one(s) participate, with the left-overs they can make their own tartelette)Bon Appetit les amis!

Hold up a la plage? La reputation de la ville des gangsters n'est plus a refaire, meme les petites blondes en maillot s'y mettent!...plus serieusement, voici ma 1ere cagoule pour les hivers rigoureux et comme je l'ai finie a la plage, Lily se devait de l'essayer!

No, no, not that kind of happy hour!
The crafty kind, you know, the " let's make a pasta necklace with a twist" kind!
If you have or know a little girl who loves everything that shines, this will be a hit.The idea is to spray some silver and gold paint on pretty pasta, that part should be done the night before by an adult,outside or with the windows opened.
Apart from that you can pretty much let the girls make the bracelets/necklaces themselves ( fun activity for a birthday party )
Gabrielle enjoyed making several bracelets with 5 pasta shells + 1 felt flower while lily loved her choker! Tres chic!

CHOCOLATE-CHIP POUND CAKE
1 1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of sour cream
3 cups of flour
1/4 teasp. baking soda
1/8 teasp. baking soda
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 whole vanilla pod
a lot of choco. chips
1. Allow the butter, eggs, sour cream to stand at room temp. for 30min.Turn oven on ( 325 F )
2. Grease and flour a 12 3/4 x 9 x 1 27/32 in. foil pan
3.In a medium bowl, beat butter w. an electric mixer on high speed, gradually add the sugar and beat about 10 min. until very light in color. Beat in the vanilla beans and add the eggs one at a time ( don't stop beating)
4. Alternately add the flour mixture and sour cream to butter mix, beating until just combined.
5. Add the choco.chips and pour batter into the prepared pan.
6. Bake in a 325F. oven for about an hour ( until golden )
7. Cool , remove from pan and cut in squares that you can wrap individually.
( particularly delicious with fresh strawberries! )

et donc ca y est le jour fatidique est arrive : Lily est a l'ecole , sans aucune larme de sa part mais plus qu'un gros pincement au coeur pour sa maman. Et oui, que voulez vous, les premiers enfants on les mets et c'est un soulagement; la derniere on n'a beau s'y accrocher , on finit par nous "l'enlever" egalement!
