et à vous toutes, pour etre là physiquement, virtuellement, du fond du coeur: MERCI!
and thank you, for being there, for your sweet comments, your interest, from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!

The pieces of fabric are sewn onto a rectangle of cardstock which is then adhered to a card.
I like the white edge all around, I think the frame it creates is a nice balance with the "crazy" piecing.
I found these great sets of stamps while there:
When I got back to France I found these adorable stickers in a garden center:
and with these new finds, I made this page while at my Mom's:
The background is a pretty soft yellow in R.L! I splattered some Gesso with a toothbrush to add dimension but it's very hard to see here.
supplies: journaling tag: Iron Orchid Designing for Prima; Gesso: Liquitex; stamps: Artemio ( réf.10001078 ); kitchen twine; inkpad: Versafine onyx black; stickers: Lito.
prep.: 15 mins ~ au congélateur/ ice-box: 30 mins
supplies: background stamp: Hero arts; paper: Bazzill; sentiment: Quickutz Chemistry; white foamie cut with the Revolution; sewing machine: Janome; white ink: ColorBox; white embossing powder.
This elongated format is perfect to showcase a background stamp.
I distressed the edges of the card with Rangers' "Broken China" inkpad.
Thanks to all of you for your sweet messages. As of today, it seems that my husband and children will not be able to come and join us in Paris at all.
When I saw this beautiful collection I immediately thought of my friend Pascale and the very touching post she wrote on March 25Th about gardening and her grandmothers and thought she could use a clipboard to take notes while gardening.
The quote is a Turkish proverb that I really like, it goes like this: " For the love of a single rose, the gardener becomes the slave of a thousand thorns".
For the card, I used a stamp from Kési'art.
A little bit of machine sewing and a piece of string with a metallic embellishment add some visual interest and texture to the card.
I wish you all a very good week-end, mine will be a bit different since I was supposed to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband in Paris. Due to the volcano cloud, he and two of my children are stuck on the other side of the pond.
Hello my Friends! This Scrap Rendez-Vous is a little different. Since I'm visiting Agata in Switzerland, she's in charge of presenting the 13Th edition of our monthly rendez-vous. Please don't forget to post a direct link to your participation here or under Agata's post by may 10Th. and to send me a picture of it as well. Thank you!
I chose to illustrate a challenge found on the C & S Tout Simplement blog which was to lift one of Catcharlotte's pages.
Supplies: all supplies from harmonie except for the yellow paper which is Bazzill and the stamp: Kési'art.
I thought these papers were perfect to illustrate this Easter picture. The brown cardstock reminded me of chocolate offered a nice contrast with all the other pastel colored elements.
I look forward to playing with this fresh collection! Thanks for visiting me today ;-)
We have two winners: Andrea will receive these 3 sheets of stickers and Caribou will receive something made from the heart by my talented co-host Agata. Enjoy ladies!

Between two classes I went back to the E.S stand and to my surprise all these ladies whom I've been fortunate enough to meet thanks to the net appeared there, looking for me!

This page is also for my album " 1 week 1 page ". I used the collection Clothelines Fresh Prints from My little Yellow Bicycle and some lemon marshmallows for the title ;-) ( Quickutz Chemistry alpha + yellow foamie ).
I have to go finish packing now for my Lilybug and I are heading to the airport in a few hours...
It was one of those pages where everything sort of clicked together, the quote ( love Thoreau! ) with the mural, the movement...well, you know what I mean, the fluidity that comes in the creative process is an incredible feeling.
mint marshmallows here ;-) ( quickutz, Chemistry alpha, The Revolution die-cut machine and a sheet of foamie ), the stamp is from Fancy Pants, the bracket is making Memory.
and then as every year, I organized an egg hunt with crazy clues for the children.
I'd like to share with you a beautiful page my sweet friend Luckie made for me:
Last week, Isa dared me to make a mosaic with red objects that I have at home. It's a fun exercise, it really makes you shift your attention to lines and textures.
from top to bottom, starting from the left: 1. my dear Kitchenaid / 2. some scrapbooking tools / 3. makeup case
The only thing I did differently is that I added a little bit of butter. After blending everything I patted the mixture down in muffin molds.
It only takes about half an hour for the nests to become solid.
