Hello dear Friends! Last Friday, I made Williams Sonoma's Vanilla Sandcastle Cake so miss Lily could celebrated her birthday with her classmates. Instead of adding strawberries on top of each tower, I quickly made four flags using some washi tape and toothpicks...
Bonjour chères Scropines! Vendredi dernier, j'ai fait ce gâteau afin que la miss fete dignement son anniversaire avec ses petits camarades de classe. Je n'aimais pas trop les fraises au sommet des tours donc j'ai pensé à faire quatre petits oriflammes avec des washi tapes et des cure-dents...
easy-peasy Tut'/Tuto super mega facile:
Place the tip of a toothpick on the sticky side of the tape.
Dérouler un morceau de washi tape, placer l'extrémité du cure-dents comme sur la photo du haut.
Close the tape, cut.
Fermer le washi tape, couper.
You can either leave the extremity as is or cut out a piece as in the picture above.
Vous pouvez soit le laisser ainsi (drapeau) ou bien couper le bout comme sur la photo d'en-haut.
I love Bundt cakes, especially for birthdays! I served it with fresh strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, delicious!
J'aime beaucoup faire des "Bundt cakes", surtout pour les anniversaires. J'ai servi celui-ci avec des fraises et une boule de glace vanille, miam!
