Happy Birthday to W.C.S - a Blog Hop & a blogcandy

Hello Dear Friends!  Write.Click.Scrapbook is blowing another candle and we are so excited to be celebrating with YOU! As this is your first stop in the bloghop, let me present you with the letter "W"

"W" as in "why" am I so proud to be part of this team? Let me count the ways...besides being an incredible diverse, versatile and talented group of ladies, the W.C.S team epitomizes generosity. Everyone in the group shares ideas and talents, not just with the readers but also backstage and none of that would be possible without our "Mother hen Marnie". She is always there, she's patient, dedicated and she cracks me up with her  wit! For that and for so many other reasons, I am so very proud to be part of Write.Click.Scrapbook and wish it a long long life!

Bonjour chères Scropines! Aujourd'hui, Write.Click.

When I realized I was paired with "the" Emily Pitts, I had to pinch myself to believe my luck ! There was a lot of excitement and quite a bit of nervousness too on my part as I sieved through Emily’s gallery for inspiration.
I definitely want to be able to write on my pages one day (Emily has the coolest handwriting). I want to use bold, long titles like she does so successfully. The result is always so striking ! I would like to have cool portrait of myself and write more personal journaling like Emily and I will try to make little décors using stamps and patterned papers. There are so many ideas, so much to take away from visiting Emily’s blog.
But for this month’s assignment I wanted to try a version of that beautiful piece Emily made recently for Cocoa Daisy. I have been dabbing with water colors lately and was curious to see how I could use that background die from Papertrey Ink...

For the first card (the pink one), I first did a wash of color on a piece of watercolor paper and covered it with the die cut image. Then I added gems and a piece of Twine.

The second card is the result of a « happy accident ». The black paper got jammed half way in my Epic machine(Quickutz) so I thought about folding it in two and gluing only the edge of the colored paper to the inside of the front cover.

You can visit the gallery by clicking HERE, but before, I thought I should show you the brand new mask one of you will win by just leaving me a comment underneath this post.

Vous pouvez visiter la gallerie de juin, en cliquant ICI mais avant, je voulais vous montrer le mask que l'une d'entre vous gagnera en laissant simplement un commentaire en-dessous de ce billet.

To help us celebrate today's birthday festivities, we have put
together a team bloghop! We wanted to make it easy, so we are going in
alphabetical order. As you click from blog to blog, you can collect
letters that you will need to know if you are selected as the lucky
number for a giveaway!

If you're following the bloghop, please go to Amy Sorensen's blog next.
Si vous suivez le blog hop, rendez-vous chez Amy Sorensen...

EDIT: Winner has been announced HERE. Thank You!
Le nom de la gagnante est annoncée dans ce billet. Merci!
