The Creative Blog Hop (TCBH)

Hello dear Friends. Today, I'm honored to be part of a hop that's spreading through the Blogland called The Creative Blog Hop. Every Monday, a blogger is tagged. He or she has to answer four questions and tag three other creative bloggers. The idea is for us Bloggers to get to know each other a little bit better. Darnell Knauss tagged me last Monday...

My name is alexandra sirugue macleod. Born and raised in Paris, I currently live in the Windy City with my husband Mark and our youngest child Gallianne Lily. We have two older children, Gabrielle Rose (almost 21) and Keelan Ange (19). Both are studying at McGill's in Montréal.
I have a profound love for arts and crafts in general, but my favorite medium is paper. I consider myself as much a scrapbooker as a cardmaker although when I think of it, this whole adventure did start with a love for stamps so I'm probably a stamper at heart!
I started a blog called art scrap & more back in May 2006. I needed to share my passion with fellow scrapbookers and cardmakers and was craving for a creative platform with no bounderies. My blog is a form of creative journal, sometimes I share a card, a page, a recipe or a tutorial and sometimes it'll be more personal. It has allowed me to meet wonderful friends from all over the world and given me job opportunities through various design teams and publications.
I'm a Project Lifer and have been keeping two types of weekly albums. I think that alone tells you I'm a little obsessed with time passing. I try to capture the essence of our daily life so our children and hopefully children's children will have an idea of what it was like to live in Chicago in a bilingual family of five.
I would like to thank Darnell for picking me, I was extremely surprised and flattered! Darnell is a complete artist. She inspires me and cracks me up every time I visit her blog!

What am I working on now?
We love Tarts in our Family so yesterday I made this Blueberry Tart which the three of us ate entirely in one afternoon...

Why do I create what I do? // Pourquoi ai-je ce besoin de créer?
I need to create with my hands. To me, it is as essential as eating and sleeping. To document our Family's everyday life and to pass on the memories...

How does my work differ from others in my genre?
I like to share tutorials with tips&techniques and also more private stuff. To me, the essence of blogging is sharing.
How does my creative process work? // Quelle est ma démarche créative?
If I scrap to document a moment in our life, I'll start by selecting my picture(s) and I'll use papers, embellishments to "support the story". If I'm just playing, then I'll choose some stamps and dies I like and I'll just let the mojo take over.{EDIT: On the picture up above, I started working on some ATCs with Papertrey Ink's STAMP-A-FAIRE 2014: Ancient Rome vol.8 NO.98}

and now, I am absolutely thrilled to present to you my three "Taggees"! From three countries dear to my heart. CANADA - FRANCE - USA.
These three bloggers will be publishing their TCBH post on their own blog next Monday, August 18Th.

My name is Leigh Penner and I live in Morden, Manitoba, Canada, with my husband of 18 years & our three children (ages 15, 12 & almost 10). I work as a substitute teacher, which I enjoy because it allows me time to spend in my craft area, creating cards & scrapbooking layouts. I am currently on the following design teams: Reverse ConfettiPretty Pink PoshChickaniddy CraftsCAS(E) This Sketch & Tag You're It! Challenge. I am also an designer/educator for Paper Crafter's Library. When I'm not stamping, in my free time, I enjoy going for bike rides, reading, watching Doctor Who & doing taekwondo with my kids (I'm a second degree black belt.)

You can find me & my work on my blog To the Full.

Hello ! My name is Floriane aka BlueOrchys. I live in Lyon, in France, married to an adorable man and mother of a sweet 3 years old daughter who often appears in my projects. In 2009, I wanted to create an original card for the Mothers' Day and now, I'm a scrapbooking addict ! I love to create pages and PL spreads. I also like minibooks or cards sometimes. I get rid off stress thanks to this passion and when I create, I'm like in a soothing bubble.

You can visit my blog here : http://incleanation.canalblog.com

My name is Miriam Prantner. I'm married to Andrew, and we have two girls Ellie (6) and Carina (3). I've been crafting ever since I was little, scrapbooking for 15+ years, and making cards for the last few years. Most recently I've begun designing stamps for Neat & Tangled Stamps. When I'm not crafting, you'll find me hanging out with friends, playing hockey, or curled up with a good book.

I love your work...quick question. Can you tell me who makes that die in the post. The one with the odd shaped squares. I would love to add one like it to my collection.
